Big Fit Walk
Keep 13 June free in your diary for the biggest health walk of the year. The Big Fit Walk is now in its eleventh year and in 2014 it’s celebrating the Commonwealth Games. Last year over 14,000 people took part.
In 2014 we want you to help us make it bigger and better. The Commonwealth Big Fit Walk aims to get as many Scots as possible walking in their local area.
Real Connections is organising a Big Fit Walk in Kirkclady as part of the fast approaching Commonwealth Games "There might not be medals, but everyone’s a winner at the Commonwealth Big Fit Walk”
This will be held on Friday the 13th of June at Beveridge Park, commencing at 12:00, but please be along for 11:30 for registration. The walk will last at least 30 minutes or longer, with light refreshments provided at the end.
Why get involved?
•It’s great fun
•You can share your love of walking with others
•It inspires you and others to walk more often
•Introduce people to walking routes and paths they might not know about
•Connect and meet new people in your area
•Celebrate the Commonwealth Games coming to Scotland
All are welcome to attend, including friends, family, service users, service users’ friends & family etc.
We would be delighted if everyone could make it along and take part. Hope to see you there.
